This is a radical suggestion, but why not buy your winter wardrobe now? Though the sun is still (mostly) shining and the weather has yet to plummet to freezing temperatures, now is prime time to invest in your new season staples. It may seem ludicrous, but the best pieces drop in store when you’re least likely to wear them. For instance, Finery just updated their website with everything we want for this coming winter.

Since Finery launched in 2014, it’s proven that high street fashion doesn’t need to look or feel cheap. In fact, their quality is commendable, and their fit is for the real women – not the worryingly thin models that hang around the runways. Notably, they are equally on point when it comes to translating trends into real life solutions. For instance, their tailoring has a boyish sensibility but is still feminine as it’s cut from plush velvet or flares out into a wide palazzo leg.

A downy millennial pink sweater stands out as a must-have from the new collection. Steering clear of being saccharine, it has a high-neck that doesn't require a necklace and rolled back cuffs - ideal for us working women in need of rolling back our sleeves and getting down to business. Though print has always played a part in Finery's wardrobe, this season it blossoms into something herbaceous and abstract. There is one sage and forest green dress that will work well now with sandals but suit boots in winter.

‘I wanted to make a collection of new best friends that are going to take our woman into the next season. There is a great mix of revisited classics for autumn winter 2017. The collection is slightly more pared back, and it is definitely a considered curation that I really want people to love. There are some really interesting fabrications, and I'm really excited for the leather pieces’ Emma Farrow, Finery’s Head of Design, told Grazia.

While the collection will drop on site shortly, the waiting list is already open for many pieces.
