You may remember Lindsay Ellingson became our BFF when she popped into Grazia HQ earlier this year and showcased her new jewellery line, Goldie Knots. In fact, the team adored the Victoria's Secret catwalker so much, we snapped her up to star in our Beauty Awards shootand nattered with her about everything from meeting Taylor Swift to her up-coming wedding day.

Cut to this weekend and Lindsay said 'I Do' to her beau Sean Clayton during an intimate ceremony in South Carolina. Congrats guys! As for her wedding dress, she opted for a gown by Sophie Thealett, her favourite designer. 'I didn't want anything poufy,' Lindsay told us prior to the Big Day. 'It's matte silk and straight down so nothing crazy. I’m not one of those girls who say "I want to be a princess for the day, with all the attention on me". I just want to be comfortable, especially because July in South Carolina means it'll be pretty hot!'

From the Instagram snap that's emerged of the event, Lindsay looks nothing short of dreamy. 'I had the best day of my life yesterday!!' says the caption that accompanies the shot. She walked down the aisle with her hair swept back in a bun while the dress featured a stunning open back.

'I’m from California so I’m very laidback and no matter if I’m on the red carpet or on the street, I always try to have an element of comfort to what I'm wearing,' Lindsay told us. 'Sophie Thealett is the first person I call because she knows what suits me and really understands a woman’s body. There’s an element of ease but her designs are also sexy, which is very me.' In fact, her favourite red carpet moment came courtesy of Sophie Theallet when she wore the designer's purple silk dress to The New Yorkers For Children Gala in 2012 [above left].

Considering Lindsay designs jewellery on the side, she knew what she wanted when it came to wedding bling. 'I want to have a bracelet made so I can have it forever,' the model said. 'It will be very minimal because I already have my engagement ring. I don’t want anything on my neck because I think less is more when it comes to your wedding day.'

More pictures from the ceremony will be revealed in an upcoming issue of Brides and something tells us they're going to be, well, Angelic.
