The fash pack have flocked to the city of Paris for the final installment of fashion week shows. Home to cult fashion houses Chanel and Christian Dior, the Parisians are renowned for unattainably chic dressing. But this season, we've noticed a sartorial shift in mood.

With street-inspired brands such as Vetements and Jacquemus now sandwiched into the Paris show schedule, it's most certainly having an impact on the wardrobes of the masses.

It seems the fashion flock have traded minimal suits for flared trousers, the Chanel bag for spraypaint effect Gucci and adorned pompom earrings in favour of diamante studs.

And in celebration of the new spirited rebellion on the streets, we round up the trends we've spotted this season...

Pompoms

The Parisians have swapped dainty earrings for bolder statement pieces this season, many choosing one of our favourite trends to date. Pompoms. From fluffball adorned shoes to pompom embellished bags, the fash pack have well and truly brought the fun back into fashion this season.

Consider yourself to be a minimal devotee? You can still adopt the trend with black pompom earrings being a key tool in dinner date dressing. Just take inspo from the Parisians.

Pink Co-Ords

The pink suit ruled last spring/summer with the highly sought after River Island two-piece flying from the rails. So recycle last season's pastel hued suit and finish with burgundy ankle boots.

The look will carry you from the office to after-work drinks in one fell swoop. Pair with a micro bag and oversized earrings.

The Babouche Shoe

It's the trend that just keeps on giving. Bring your babouche shoes into winter with flared trousers and an oversized coat.

Once labelled as an 'ugly shoe', confined to the catwalk, the babouche has finally won over the public. Spotted walking Céline’s Resort 2016 collection, the shoe has made a name for itself with the street-stylers of Paris.

The Oversized Anorak

We told you fashion was practical now. Weather-proof your look this autumn with an anorak. A fashionable one too. The street-stylers of Paris were spotted donning the trend, many opting for an oversized silhouette.

Opt for an oversized coat in the hue or a pastel set of co-ords. We're talking a work to drinks look in a matter of minutes.

The Quilted Jacket

Remember when we told you that the puffer jacket had resurfaced from the nineties and made its way to the high street? Well, the quilted jacket is a sister of the trend. So if the puffed up proportions of the '90s comeback intimidate you slightly, opt for the quilted jacket.

Don over a turtleneck come winter and you're guaranteed to stay snug. Finish with cropped, frayed jeans and patent ankle boots.

The Slip-On Flatform

Slipper style shoes have long ruled the winter months with many of us donning Gucci style backless loafers with flared trousers. And this season it seems that the slipper has been given a lift.

Opt for a flatform version of the much-loved shoe this season and pair with an ankle skimming skirt and oversized shirt. Don't just stick to black this winter, don the shoe in a pastel hue.

Supersized Sleeves

Opt for waist skimming sleeves this season. The bigger, the better. Tuck a lengthy sleeved shirt into blue jeans and finish with backless loafers.

You can don the look to work and simply swap flats for chunky ankle boots come Friday night drinks.
