If you've been eyeing up some new Adidas trainers, an Abercrombie and Fitch hoodie, or a fresh pair of Vans, we have a treat for you. British ASOS shoppers have discovered a genius way of getting huge discounts on some American brands - simply switching to the US version of the site means you can shop in dollars which, when converted back to pounds, can result in big savings.
To do this, the Daily Mail report that you'll need to change your location to the US version of the website, which shows your shopping basket in dollars. From there, you can switch your settings to show prices in sterling while still shopping on the US site. The currency conversion means that your items from certain brands will be significantly cheaper than if you were to buy on UK ASOS - it could be worth checking out the price difference on your shopping by comparing the same items on both sites. The simple trick can mean that you're saving up to a third of the UK price of expensive big name American brands, so you can ease your guilt for splashing on another pair of Gazelles.

American brands like Adidas, Converse, Calvin Klein and Juicy Couture are all much cheaper in the US, which is where the savings come in for us in the UK. By using the cheat, the Daily Mail reports that you can save almost £50 on some items. A pair of Juicy Couture tracksuit bottoms will cost you £150 on the UK site, but by switching your location and swapping the currency back to pounds, you can save £45.59 and pay a heavily discounted £104.49.
The Daily Mail have created an extensive list of the best savings they've found using the cheat here, including a saving of almost £15 on Converse trainers, and a pair of Calvin Klein boots for £64.59 compared the £100 you'd spend by shopping through UK ASOS.
As usual with online shopping glitches, as soon as the company cottons on to a shopping hack affecting prices on their site the loopholes are closed swiftly - so you may want to start building your basket before the online clothing giant notices what's up... Happy shopping!
