And the bride wore high street...
When we first learnt that Topshop is launching a bridal collection just in time for spring wedding season, we couldn't believe our luck.
The high street favourite has debuted five wedding dress styles starting at a very affordable £350. There's also be a 25-piece range of bridesmaids dresses too, so the rest of the wedding party doesn't feel left out.
Topshop finally unveils its debut wedding collection
Here at Grazia, we're big supporters of this.
There's probably no item of clothing with as much importance placed on it as your wedding dress. Finding the 'right' one is often the most stressful part of getting married, with no end of people offering up their opinions on where they got theirs from or what they want for their big day.
There's a lot of pressure on the decision over what to wear: after all, all eyes are on you in a way they are unlikely to ever be again (unless you're an A-list celeb at the Oscars or a politican delivering a speech at the UN, of course...) It's also one of the most expensive aspects of the whole shebang. And the worst thing? After all of that, you'll probably only get to wear it once.
The collection drops on 13 April
Which is why we're inclined to think that high street might be the way to go. After all, Whistles, H&M, Reformation and ASOS already have bridal collections, so it's about time that Toppers joined the proceedings. As self-confessed Topshop addicts, it's news that's welcome to our ears - even if we've not found the groom yet...
The bridal collection launches online and in selective stores on 13 April, 2017. Bridal dresses range from £350 to £795. While bridesmaid dresses range from £85 to £245.
