Could it be? A Spice Girls reunion feat Victoria Beckham this time? The rumours have been circling the last few hours since Posh, Baby and Sporty Spice were spotted together on VB's Instagram. It turns out, they were actually reunited for Ginger Spice's big 50th birthday bash. Either way, it gave us all the nostalgia feels. Our inner child hoped for a one-off show, but our adult self couldn't help but admire the outfits. The dress they all chose to wear (we wonder if they all had a WhatsApp group to discuss pre-party?) just so happens to be a style most of us non-celebrities also own. So, with the approval of some of the most stylish women around, it’s time to bring back the LBD.
Victoria Beckham went for a sleek slip dress, Emma Bunton wore a puff-sleeve iteration and Mel C opted for a long-sleeve cut-out detail mini dress. And together, they just ticked off every key dress style for party season. The general consensus is, if it's a black dress, then it'll never fail in the outfit department.
Turns out these aren't the only A-listers bringing back the black dress, either, as it was only recently Hailey Bieber wore a mini for daytime with chunky loafers and socks.
Instagram is also awash with fashion editors and influencers wearing black dresses at the moment, and @champagnemani has made a case for a square-neckline style paired with a statement necklace.
