Are You Brave Enough For SS16’s Boldest Hair Trend?

When it comes to changing things up for SS16, the biggest hair trends are all about cuts, rather than colours this season.

So stick with your natural hair hue (or add a little something with some gentle strobing or feather lights) and go for the chop to start the new season with a spring in your step.

The cropped fringe

Feeling really brave? Then opt for the coolest cut from the catwalk, the cropped fringe. Not for the faint of heart, this midi cropped fringe falls somewhere between the hairline and the brows – it’s up to you just how short you want to go.

Not a trend for the fairest folk, this cut works best for those with darker or brighter hair hues, and it’s not one for you if you’re frizz-prone or blessed with curls-a-plenty (unless you’re prepared for a lot of taming).

We love it because

A statement in itself, it won’t matter what you do with the rest of your tresses, you’ll always look like you’ve made an effort (hello hassle-free messy gym-pony). This look also works well when it’s ever so slightly less-than-perfect, so you can touch it up at home yourself and not worry about a little bit of wonk (don’t go crazy though).

So what are you waiting for? Get thee to a salon, pronto.
