Oh, Lena. What will you do next? When you're not wearing controversial frocks to fancy awards dos, or writing controversial books, or being controversially nude on TV, you're er, being controversial on Instagram. After a few shocker posts, including a faux-topless one, Lena's now got something in common with Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Jessica Alba. They've all debuted new haircuts on Instagram.
Unlike misses Alba and Huntington Whitely, Lena's chop is not a long bob, or even a blunt bob, as is the style du jour. Oh no, she's gone for a total crop instead. The style is a close, pixie-esque crop that's probaby about an inch or two long. Lena happily captioned it 'zero prep needed!', which we'll grant her is true. With hair that short, there's not a whole lot you can do. However, give it a month or so, and when it starts to grow out, that's when it will take a lot of prep, believe you me.
Lena's going pretty against the grain (as usual) with this style. At a time when other celebrities are braving a six or seven inch chop by going for punky-yet-pretty bobs, Lena goes the whole hog and leaves basically nothing on her scalp. Classic Lena. We'll be intrigued to see how Lena, a lover of cool dyes, hair accessories and other paraphernalia makes this one work for her....
