An unexpected beauty trend has landed this year – and one Instagrammer has taken things to a seriously untouchable level.
Miss Jazmina has been using social media to showcase some of the most amazing lip art that we’ve ever come across. Her extensive pout portfolio boasts illustrations of classic Disney scenes, abstract 3-D effects, and disco ball glitter lips.
The Instagram star uses a range of beauty products to achieve the incredible designs, applying everything from lip products and eyeshadows, to pattern transfers, sequins and charms. They can take anything from a few minutes to a few hours to create.
Jazmina started experimenting with make-up and more specifically, lip art, around four years go after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. Her colourful Instagram account featuring her intricate and epic lips designs quickly propelled her to Insta-fame and accrued her a vast fan base.
In a recent interview, she spoke about how she doesn’t plan her designs, instead preferring to let them develop during the process.
'It can be very frustrating doing lip art – you need a steady hand for detailed work, and when it’s not coming out like you’d hope it can be disheartening,' she told Buzzfeed.
'But it always feels better to be able to finally execute the design instead of giving up on the idea.'
Nestled among the gorgeous lipspo, Jazmina also gives her loyal fan base an insight into her make-up, hair and beauty experiments.
And she’s doing a great job – she’s well on her way to a million followers on the account.
