Lily-Rose Depp’s Chanel No. 5 Ad Has Arrived

At the age of just 16, Lily-Rose Depp has already made waves in the worlds of fashion and film. As the new face of Chanel’s No. 5 L’Eau fragrance, the young model-actress has now added beauty ambassador to her packed resumé.

Two months after her latest role was announced by the iconic French fashion house, Lily-Rose has revealed the first image from her campaign. Shot by Karim Sadli, the striking photo shows Lily's face seen double through a No. 5 perfume bottle.

'Thank you so much to the entire Chanel team for this incredible honour!' she wrote in a caption.

While No. 5 needs no introduction, L’Eau is a fresher, lighter and more youthful take on a classic – and naturally, a brand new fragrance needed a fresh-faced campaign star. In a statement, the fashion house explained that Lily-Rose ‘embodies her generation and its values of freedom and boldness to perfection, bringing to the iconic fragrance of the House her youthful freshness and beauty.’

Back in May, Lily took to Instagram to share an image of herself kissing an oversized No. 5 bottle, captioned 'I'm so excited to announce that I am the face of the new Chanel No. 5 L'EAU!'

It's not the first time that Lily-Rose has worked with the Karl Lagerfeld-helmed label. The 16-year-old, who made her Cannes Film Festival debut in a Chanel hoodie earlier this month, has previously starred in an eyewear campaign for the brand, She also featured in Chanel's casino-themed AW15 couture show alongside her mother Vanessa Paradis, who has been an ambassador for the house since the '90s, when she was the face of Chanel's Coco fragrance. Talk about good genes...

The No. 5 L'Eau fragrance will be available to buy in the autumn.
