We all have a favourite eyebrow, right? One that has a better shape, length, arch, the works, and no matter how hard we try to get the other to match it, it just won’t happen. Many of us have one eyebrow higher than the other or one eyebrow that is fuller than the other. We might spend time in front of the mirror tweezing to even them out and filling in other areas where necessary in attempt to achieve symmetry. We’ve all heard the phrase ‘your eyebrows should be sisters not twins,’ who needs matching eyebrows? Let's celebrate their individuality. What we didn’t expect to find out, though, is that there is actual science behind this particular piece of beauty wisdom. Eyebrow expert Tonya Crooks, who is responsible for curating the perfect arches of Megan Fox and Eva Mendes explains that the shape of your eyebrows can differ due to ‘different muscle movement', explaining why many think that they have one eyebrow that sits higher than the other. She says, 'the difference in your eyebrows can be attributed to how you naturally show expression in your face, or even what side of your face you sleep on at night, which can make the muscles on one side weaker than the other'.

That's one beauty conundrum explained!
