The nation’s undying love affair with gin is getting stronger and stronger. Whether you like a classic G&T or prefer yours infused with fruity flavours, it’s hard to deny its all-year-round appeal.

Now, though, your relationship with your favourite tipple doesn’t have to begin and end after a long day at the bar, it can consume your whole day. A gin school is currently hiring for a ‘Gin Experience Host’ to join their team – a position which is sure to catalyse many resignation letters being handed in around the country.

The Manchester Three Rivers is looking for someone to lead the tours around their distillery, which gives visitors in insight into the production of the small-batch spirit and about its history. And for the pièce de résistance, there will also be gin-tasting masterclasses. Need we say more?

The job advert, which was posted two days ago on the company’s Facebook page and Instagram account, says: ‘We have a very exciting opportunity for one lucky person to become part of our growing team at Manchester Three Rivers Gin!

‘We are looking to hire a FULL TIME Gin Experience Host/Distillery Assistant to deliver our award-winning Gin Experience and to be part of the team at the first city centre distillery in Manchester's history.’

There is no mention of salary, but we’re guessing the benefits and work perks would be something to shout about, and according to the advert we’re already over-qualified.

‘We want someone who is passionate, dedicated and willing to learn (and loves gin!)’ it continues. ‘In exchange you will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to join an exciting and growing brand.’

Tick all these boxes and have the enthusiasm? Get your CV and cover letter in ASAP, what are you waiting for?
