To celebrate International Women’s Day, the long list for the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction 2016 has been announced.

Celebrating its 21st year – and this year once again partnering with Grazia around the festivities – the Prize celebrates ‘excellence, originality and accessibility’ in writing by women in English from throughout the world.

This year’s judges include The Apprentice’s lawyer and business Margaret Mountford chairing proceedings, broadcaster and journalist Naga Munchetty, writer and journalist Laurie Penny, author Elif Shafak, and writer and singer, Tracey Thorn.
