Whoops.

It’s pretty safe to say that Adele had a very good night last night.

The London-born singer picked up FOUR awards at the BRITs: Best British Single, Best British Female Solo Artist, British Album Of The Year and Global Success Award.

That would have won her the headlines alone, but it was her speech as she picked up the award for Global Success that got ITV bosses' hearts racing.

Yep, ITV actually censored everything EXCEPT her swearing.

“I thought you’d be f*cking bored of me! I honestly can’t tell you, I got really lost for a while, I didn’t know if I’d ever come back.”

She later apologised for swearing, saying: “Apparently the bleep guy didn’t get in early enough for the one of the bleeps.”

Here's the full speech, in case you missed it:

This isn’t the first time Adele’s been caught out for her naughty language at the BRITs either - after throwing up her middle finger in 2014 when her acceptance speech was cut off.

The whole thing was basically a massive fail, absolutely hilarious and another addition to the very long list of reasons why we love Adele.
