Just when we thought we couldn't be any more excited for Christmas (which is a mere 98 sleeps away, btw), Baileys have announced that they're releasing a vegan option and it sounds like the perfect post-Christmas dinner tipple.

The new drink, named Baileys Almande, is both dairy-free and gluten-free which means Baileys for all.

It hits stores TODAY and although it's currently exclusive to Whole Foods, Baileys have said that a national launch will take place later this year, so everyone can get their hands on some boozy vegan goodness in time for the festive period.

The plant-based Baileys is made from almond milk, almond essence, cane sugar, purified water and real vanilla, which all sounds DELISH.

In a Facebook post, Whole Foods said "the dairy-free, vegan-friendly indulgence blends the luscious, nutty flavours of sweet almond oil & almond essence (extracted from crushed almonds) with a touch of real vanilla."

Although it has been available in America since May last year, this is the first time it's been released here in the UK and it looks like it's going to fly off the shelves.

In other festive drinks news, Aldi are selling a THREE LITRE bottle of Prosecco just in time for Christmas party season. Looks like we'll be eating and drinking our way through December.
