Liam Payne's been treating us all to an insight into his life as a new dad to baby Bear, his relationship with Cheryl and his upcoming solo debut. He's literally the gift that keeps on giving at the moment.

The latest little snippet of Chiam news we've received is that Cheryl and Liam's son Bear – who's middle name was revealed earlier this week – might feature on his dad's music.

Speaking to KissFM Liam let slip that he recorded his little babba's heartbeat while he was still safely nestling away in Cheryl's tummy, and is keen to use it on one of his tracks.

Liam explained: "I made it into, like, a drum beat.

"It’s super cool. We haven’t really fit it with any song yet but, I mean, there’s a chance of it."

Very Blue Ivy, eh?

Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter famously had her breathing and crying featured on her dad's Glory album. And later Beyoncé worked some of Blue's chatter into her track Blue.

Looks like Liam and Cheryl are keen for their little bub to follow in their musical footsteps from an early age.

In other Liam Payne news, he has revealed he's still angry with Cheryl for not giving him a standing ovation during his 2010 X Factor audition.

Way back when he was just a teenager and Chezza was still a WAG going by the name of Cheryl Cole, Liam auditioned as a solo artist on The X Factor and wowed the judges with his rendition of Michael Bublé's Cry Me A River. But while Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh stood up to applaud Liam for his triumphant return to the X Factor stage (he lost out on a place in the live shows in 2008), his future baby mumma remained firmly in her seat.
