Watching Bella Hadid strut the Victoria's Secret runway looking UH-MAZING as The Weeknd performed alongside her was literally the opposite of every run in we've had with our ex-boyfriends.
These were more along the lines of being 6 tequilas down, make up smeared all over our face, and trying to do a sexy Macarena in da club as they looked on curiously.
Something like that, anyway.
And our sources have told us that she really wants The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) back.
"Bella wants Abel back. She loves him - they met up in Paris to discuss their future," a source tells heat. "They saw each other at Hotel Costes. Bella was in a great mood, and couldn’t stop smiling as they chatted."
They were both in the French capital as the 20-year-old was making her debut at the Victoria Secret’s Fashion Show where The Weeknd was performing.
Before the show, on the official VS plane to Paris, fellow model, Kelly Gale Snapchatted Bella gazing longingly at an old photo of her and The Weeknd kissing.
But despite the model’s hopes, friends say The Weeknd isn’t so sure about a reunion.
"Abel couldn’t handle her getting so famous," explained the insider. "Suddenly there were men asking her out all the time.
"He didn’t want to hold her back from her dreams and she thought it was her time especially after getting the VS show. She misses him terribly but unless he accepts her career then they can't make it work. Abel realises he was unfair but he still doesn't want his girlfriend to be a woman every man in the world wants!"
Loads of spectators were quick to claim that she seemed to have dismissed him on the runway last week, but she quickly took to Instagram to sing his praises (and it was adorable)
She wrote: "I can't believe it! I was smiling SO HUGE on the inside I promise!!!! The most fun and nerve racking experience of my life but I wish I could do it over and over and over again!!!!! Thank you @theweekndfor being the best and most incredible performer on the planet. You KILLED it, as always And not enough thank you's to @ed_razek @10magazine@johndavidpfeiffer @monica.mitro and the whole VS family!!! thank you for believing in me I love you all so so so much."
