Since then, rumours have been swirling over the sex of her twinsand the couple have, of course, been keeping us on our toes.
Bey and Jay-Z are believed to have welcomed their two tots earlier this week, but in true Knowles-Carter style, have continued to be tight-lipped on their new arrivals.
While there has been no official announcement, it is believed that the former Destiny's Child frontwoman gave birth to her twins on Monday night or Tuesday morning at a LA hospital.
A source told People magazine, "Bey and Jay are thrilled and have started sharing the news with their family and closest friends."
This means that the musician's daughter Blue Ivy, who was born in 2012, will have two siblings.
