Beyonce is reportedly encouraging her husband Jay Z to reach out to Kanye West in the wake of the rapper being taken to hospital.
Kanye and Jay Z had previously been friends and long-time colaborators, working on a number of songs together as well as the album Watch The Throne.
This all seemed to changed when Kanye went on a series of rants during his Saint Pablo tour. First criticising Jay Z for his lack of support after Kim Kardashian's Paris robbery, and then slamming Beyonce at his last concert before the tour was cancelled.
Now, sources suggest Beyonce is trying to get Jay Z to 'mend his friendship' with Kanye, while he is in hospital.
"Beyonce is urging Jay to let bygones be bygones, and Jay is coming round to the idea and fast as he sees Kanye is in trouble," a source told The Sun.
"No matter what has happened between them, Kanye has always been Jay’s little bro and Jay has always called him his ‘familia’.
"When Kanye’s mother Donda died, it was Bey and Jay that Kanye turned to. They were his number one comforters, with Beyoncé even playing Connect 4 with him to take his mind off things," they added.
Lady Gaga also recently shared her support for Kanye after he was admitted to hospital on Monday and is reported to be undergoing 'psychiatric evaluation'.
The singer posted a series of tweets urging her fans to take the matter seriously.
She wrote: "It's not funny to joke about anyone's possible or not possible mental illness, this is a sensitive time for many. Let's be kind & loving."
And another read: "While I don't agree with everything he does I hope the public shows compassion and [love] for @kanyewest and each other. One love. One Race."
She also tweeted: ". @kanyewest i support & love u brother, I see in you bravery & courage to stop this tour & take care of YOU. You are a GREAT artist"
