Who is the real Honey G? That’s a question many of us asked when the ‘rap artist’ managed to make it through to the next stage of The X Factor week after week last year.
And we thought we were going to get the chance to learn more about the NME Award for Worst Band nominee this summer as she was heavily rumoured to be heading into the Celebrity Big Brother house.
But The Honey G Show warbler will not be heading into Channel 5’s Borhamwood bungalow this year as her name was missing from the leaked line-up ahead of Tuesday’s series launch.
And the real reason why she won’t taking part in the reality show has now been revealed - she’s simply too focused on her music career.
Her manager told the Daily Mirror: “Her priority is concentrating on her music, rapping and producing. She’s currently busy writing her album.”

Things could have got interesting for Honey if she had gone into the house as rumoured housemate Sandi Bogle's (off of Gogglebox) best mate Sandra Martin wants to lock lips with her after the rapper came out as gay.
Honey says she was too shy to talk about her sexuality during her time on The X Factor but feels comfortable now and told the world she was attracted to females last week.
After hearing the news, Sandra, who was also previously rumoured for CBB, tweeted: “I WILL BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND HONEY G. QUEEN BEE LIVE WATCHING HONEY G. MEETING ME IN BIG BROTHER HOUSE. I WILL SNOG YOU THEN.”
