The official investigation into Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death has found no signs of significant injury on her body, the medical examiner has reported.

According to the preliminary autopsy report by the Fulton County Medical Examiner, more tests will have to be carried out before her death certificate can be completed.

In a statement, the department said: “The autopsy does not show an obvious underlying cause of death and no significant injuries were noted.

“No previously unknown medical conditions that could have contributed to death were identified.”

It went on to say that subpoenas – a type of legal writ to uncover evidence – will be used to gain necessary documents relating to her health, but the department won’t determine a cause of death “until all test results are completed”, which will take “several weeks”.

This appears to contradict earlier reports from when Bobbi was first discovered in a bathtub with what seemed to be bruises on her face.

She was found unresponsive in the tub by partner Nick Gordon and a friend on 31 January, and was put into a medical coma by doctors.

However, despite their best efforts and the hopes of her family, Bobbi was pronounced dead on Sunday (26 July), nearly six months since the incident.

Police are still looking into the circumstances surrounding her discovery in the bath, but it’s thought Bobbi will eventually be laid to rest next to her mum Whitney Houston in New Jersey.
