You may remember (due to it being arguably the biggest bit of celeb news of the noughties) that Brad left Jennifer Aniston for Angelina in 2005 when they met on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith.
And the pair haven’t exactly remained the best of friends.
But it’s now been reported by People that Brad and Jennifer have “been texting”– and he tracked down her number in February to wish her happy birthday.
According to the US publication, Brad had to negotiate a “tangled web” to get her number and that “They started talking once he wished her a happy birthday.”
The magazine claims he has “confided in Jen”, and the source adds: “Brad told her he’s having a hard time with his split and they exchanged a few texts reminiscing about the past.
And a source close to Brad revealed: “They have been texting and have been in touch. There has just been some friendly back and forth, nothing more than that.”
