Melissa Meeks, the estranged wife of Jeremy Meeks (aka Hot Felon), has spoken out for the first time about her husband’s affair with Topshop heiress Chloe Green.
In July this year, photos surfaced of Jeremy and Chloe kissing on a yacht despite the fact that Jeremy was still married to Melissa. Nine days later, Jeremy filed for divorce.
In an interview on American TV programme Inside Edition, Melissa described how finding out about the affair, unsurprisingly: “wasn’t an easy pill to swallow.”
She added: “This is not anything I expected…I felt hurt. I felt betrayed. I believed in him, I believed in us. I truly thought this would have a happy ending. It didn't have a happy ending for me.”
When asked if she still loves Jeremy, Melissa admitted that she does.
Melissa, who has three children, was married to ex-convict-turned model Jeremy for eight years – and she stood by him when he was sent to prison for possessing a firearm in 2014.
They are now in the process of divorcing, and Melissa’s lawyer, Lisa Bloom, also appeared on the show, saying Melissa just wants what she is “legally entitled” to.
Lisa said: “This is a woman who worked very hard behind the scenes, supporting her family, standing by him during his incarceration and even afterwards.”
Jeremy shot to fame after his mugshot went viral after being posted on Facebook, and sparked his modelling career.
This summer he has been travelling the world with Chloe, and the pair have been flaunting their relationship on social media.
Last month there were rumours that Jeremy and Chloe were engaged – but this later turned out to be false.
