Even though it's currently pouring it down with rain in every corner of the United Kingdom, it's kind of starting to feel like summer might just be around the corner. Which means one thing and one thing only: LOVE ISLAND will be back on our screens very soon.
The brand new series promises to be the best yet because not only is it going to be seven days longer and producers are apparently whittling down this year's line-up of sexy singles.
However, there has been some bad news about one of the rumoured contestants, Big Brother star Lisa Appleton's daughter Sophia, who's had to turn down the offer of appearing on the show after meeting someone just week before filming started.
According to The Sun, Sophia wrote on Facebook: "Well as you all know, I could of been on Love Island this year, everyone keeps asking me what’s going on… so I’m putting it out there… it was a hard choice to make, but due to a potential relationship in my life I decided to turn it down a few weeks ago.
"However I wish all the best for the luck people that get to compete, find love and win the show, £50,000 and in return hopefully a successful life."

ITV2 have confirmed that Cazza's new show will be called Aftersun (of course) and will feature different celebrity guests every single week.
