As far as Valentine's Day goes, ours was pretty crap, NGL. We spent most of the evening devouring a mammoth bowl of pesto pasta, watching shitty Netflix rom-coms and making a collage of cute celeb couples with our faces photoshoped on. True story.
But even though ours was spent wallowing in our perpetual single status, it probably wasn't as bad as poor Vicky Pattison's as the Geordie Shore star spent it in hospital :(.
Yesterday morning, Vicky revealed on Instagram that she would be spending the special day in hospital. Beneath a picture of her and her boyfriend John Noble sharing a lil' kiss, she wrote: "Happy Valentines to you all but most of all to my favourite human @johnnoblejn!!! I can't believe we're spending valentines in the hospital. I'm so sorry but as long as I'm with you I am the happiest girl in the world! Love you to the moon and back…"
John also took to Instagram to gush about his relationship with Vicky and comment how their day hadn't really gone to plan.
Taking a selfie with Vicky on her hospital bed he said: "Not the valentines we had planned but at least shes got me! I mean at least she's ok [sic]"
Cute, eh?
According to The Sun, a friend of Vicky's confirmed the former Queen of The Jungle had been suffering with the flu: " Vicky is absolutely fine, she just wanted to get checked out and John went along with her.
"She’s come down with the flu so is feeling under the weather."
Later yesterday evening, Vic updated her fans on Instagram, telling them how much John had looked after her while she's been ill.
She shared a picture of some roses and captioned it: "He's looked after me all through the night and all day, never left my side... He's more than my boyfriend, he's my best friend and the only man who's ever made me feel safe and loved...@johnnoblejn! Sorry I ruined Valentine's Day baby... I love you"
N'awww. Isn't that cute?
