Calvin Harris to join The X Factor?

Remember a time long, long ago when Jedward were on the show? And that time they performed Under Pressure? And that random bloke who turned out to be Calvin Harris crashed the stage with an actual pineapple n his head?

Of course you do it was bloody hilarious.

It was a time way before his worldwide fame and well before Taylor Swift (2009 was AGES ago).

He apaz got banned from both that night’s Xtra Factor appearance and all other future X Factor performance because of his antics.

It was only a pineapple, guys?

But his long running feud with the show may now be OVER (prob because he’s now famous AF), and he is reportedly in talks to Sinitta it up at Judges Houses with Nicole Scherzinger.

A source told The Sun: “Calvin is rightly regarded as one of the biggest artists in music due to his phenomenal chart success.

“Simon wants A-listers on board and made a beeline for Calvin, ensuring him there would be no issues after the Jedward row.

“It was a long time ago and both have moved on so much since then.”

We’re pretty much dying with excitement about The X Factor’s return this Saturday – it’s returned to a traditional line up of Sharon Osbourne, Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Nicole (AND DERMOT O’LEARY), which pretty much means it’s gonna be great.

It wasn’t the same last year, let’s be real.

But Olly Murs may have thrown some pretty shady shade X Factor’s way.

"When I did the show back in 2009 we had huge viewing figures, the final was like 20 million and it was the biggest show, bigger than Strictly Come Dancing. Everybody loved it, people would have X Factor nights and barbecues, fancy dress parties, it was such an event. It's changed now, people have more and more choice and Strictly battles it every week."

AND THIS WAS JUST THE START.

"Over the years so much has gone on with the show that more and more people want to say negative things about it. It shouldn’t be about the judges or the presenters, it should be about finding talent," he continued in an interview with HMV.com

"People are more concerned with what the judges are wearing than the singing, I think in 2009 it was all about the singing, you did have a great judging panel, but it felt like it was all about the contestants."
