Calvin Harris on Taylor Swift break-up: ‘All hell broke loose’

The Calvin Harris / Taylor Swift saga has basically dominated our entire lives. We weren't all that interested when they were together (apart from that time they were majorly PDAing at the Billboard Music Awards), but they got hella interesting after splitting up.

Taylor moved on to Tom Hiddleston almost immediately (and we all know how that turned out), and Calvin was forced to watch on sadly as they were repeatedly spotted out in various bizarre situations (we'll never forget the 'I heart TS' t-shirt).

We're still waiting on that most elaborate Taylor Swift video ever, BTW…

And Calvin went on the Twitter rant to end all Twitter rants after Taylor revealed she'd written his song This Is What You Came For. He said things like: "I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it," and "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do."

Needless to say, that was an exciting day.

He also partied with Kim Kardashian after that MASSIVE feud, and delivered her a little helping of shade at the GQ Awards earlier this week.

And now he's opened up more than ever before about the whole ordeal.

"It's very difficult when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly.

"But when it ended, all hell broke loose. Now I see that Twitter thing as a result of me succumbing to pressure. It took me a minute to realise that none of that matters. I'm a positive guy," he told GQ Magazine.

"For both of us it was the wrong situation. It clearly wasn't right, so it ended, but all of the stuff that happened afterwards..."
