In the most unexpected baby news since Stephanie Davis’s and Cheryl’s, Cara de la Hoyde announced she was pregnant with Nathan Massey’s child a few weeks ago.
And we’re SO happy for our fave Love Island gal.
Cara appeared on This Morning earlier today to speak about her pregnancy and future with Nathan (they split just before her pregnancy news was announced).
Speaking about how she found out she was pregnant, she said: “I was actually in hospital having a cervical examination and then I found out I was pregnant.
“So I didn’t go in to find that so that was a shock. We (Cara and Nathan) are really good, we’re constantly in contact, he knows everything that he needs to know...He was very shocked, just the same as I was, and we tried to make it work, but sometimes it’s better for the baby not to be in that volatile relationship.”
And on whether she could see her and Nathan working things out in the future, she said: “Of course, it’d be lovely to have a little family and look back and show our kid where we met.”
She was also asked whether she’d be joining to cast of TOWIE, to which she replied: “Maybe, obviously they’re on holiday at the moment, they’ve jetted off everywhere, so you’ll have to watch this space. There’s room for a little yummy mummy. You never know.”
