Here at heat towers we're beyond excited for Love Island's imminent return to our TV screens (Monday 5 June - save the date, peeps). So excited, in fact, that when we saw the insane new line-up of guys and gals heading into the villa for a summer of love, we immediately cancelled all of our upcoming social plans. Dedication to the cause and all.

But while we're looking forward to meeting a whole new cast of fitlords and ladies, we still like to look back and reflect on all the dramz from last summer's Love Island co-hort.

Who could forget the epic showdown between Malin Andersson and Terry Walsh over his new gf Emma-Jane Woodhams?

Or the whole Sophie Gradon - Tom Powell – Katie Salmon love triangle?

And remember that time when Caroline Flack was accused of being really, really flirty with Alex Bowen (of the enormo peen)? Viewers couldn't help but notice that Caz was particularly friendly with Alex during his interview in the show's finale. Then he uploaded a picture of the two of them on Instagram having a bit of a cheeky cuddle.

Well, now Cazza's spoken out about what really happened, and has pretty much denied any nawty shenanigans.

"It was silly, but funny, because his girlfriend [now fiancée], Olivia Buckland, was stood right next to us," Caroline told Cosmopolitan.

"That day, I wrote on my Facebook page, ‘Hey guys, if anyone wants a laugh today, go on my Instagram and read the comments.’"

Cazza added: "This is just what happens with social media, and I’m used to it now. I don’t sit and dwell on it. Instead, I’m more like, ‘Oh, here we go again!’"
