There's also the issue of your internet not playing ball and having to wait 4EVA for your Instagram feed to load. Or scroll through Instagram so much on your commute that you run out of data week before it all refreshes. First world problems and all that.

Well, all those annoyin' issues could be about to change.

Over at Insta HQ, tech wizards are currently testing a new feature that will eliminate the need for a strong internet connection.

Loads of techy brands - including Facebook, Amazon Prime and Netflix - have all jumped on the 'offline mode' trend, allowing users to browse homepages and download shows without eating into data

According to a tech report from Facebook Developers Conference (Facebook owns Insta), Instagram are using similar tactics to o improve user experience in countries with poor internet access.

The report is full of veeeeeeery complex tech info, but it all basically means that we could be allowed to scroll our way through our commutes without having to use so much data AND out social feeds will be easier to download.

FAB.
