Just when we thought our excitement for the upcoming Beauty and the Beast film was under control, original queen of pop Celine Dion has announced she will be contributing a brand-new song to the soundtrack and we CAN’T.EVEN.

EEEEK

OK, we’re calm, promise.

Celine took to Facebook to reveal her news, posting: "I am thrilled to announce that I’ll be performing an all-new original song, How Does A Moment Last Forever, for Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast.

“Being a part of the original film was such a magical experience in my life, and I’m truly honoured to be a part of this film again.”

Singing legend Celine previously performed the original duet for the animated movie Beauty and The Beast alongside Peabo Bryson and won an Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe when it was released in 1991.

This time Celine’s teamed up with Oscar winning composer Alan Menkan and lyricists Tim Rice, meaning this song is sure to be another heart-melting, show-stopping, emotional EXPLOSION of a Disney ballad.

Celine’s announcement follows news that Arianna Grande and John Legend have teamed up to record Tale As Old As Time and the film will feature three band new songs.

Mitchell Leib, president of music and soundtracks at Disney, said: “with today's two greatest plutonium singers – John Legend and Ariana Grande – we are bringing the song back with a new school-old school fresh treatment that shows the soulfulness and power of what a great melody and lyric can inspire.”

With all these updates, two trailers and a first glimpse of Emma Watson singing as Belle (yes it’s just as good as you’ve always imagined), we’re officially ready for March 17.

Luckily, we don’t have too much longer to wait, but until then we’ll be watching the trailer on repeat and applying our Beauty and the Beast inspired nail polish collection.
