Charlotte Crosby and Gary Beadle were the Rome and Juliet of the Tinder generation – if Romeo was a massive bellend (thanks, Vicky Pattison).
We watched them get together, Gaz bang another woman, Charlotte be left devastated but get back together with anyway, repeat Repeat REPEAT relationship for FIVE YEARS with a weird mixture of resignation and joy.
Then, everything changed.
Charlotte revealed in an interview with heat that she'd suffered an ectopic pregnancy with Gary's child and that he remained filming Ex On The Beach rather than be with her. Of course, Gaz's story varies slightly, but we are and will forever be Team Charlotte.
Char quit Geordie Shore in the fallout and we're still hoping that she will return. We're NOT hoping for a Chaz reunion though, and it looks as though that is very much not on the cards.
When asked if any future boyfriend could ever match Gary, Char said:
"[Will any guy ever] compare to him? Anyone would be a better person than Gary Beadle. No one can even come close to how much of an evil, vindictive man he is. Even a murderer would be better than Gary Beadle.
"He is the worst, the lowest person of the low," she continued in new! magazine.
That seems pretty clear cut from where we're sitting.
However, her experience with Gary hasn't quashed Char's belief in love.
"I’m ready to meet someone else – really, really ready. I want to be in a relationship so badly," she said.
Oh, Char darlin'.
Maybe she will meet someone in the new dating show she's taking part in, which will see her dating a member of the public.
Or perhaps she and Mario Falcone will take their chirpsing to the next step.
We've got everything crossed for our Geordie princess.
