Charlotte Crosby has quit Geordie Shore after five years on the show, following the news of her traumatic ectopic pregnancy.

The 26-year-old, who yesterday told heat that she lost her pregnancy just two months ago, took to Twitter to reveal that she was done with the MTV show.

"The very hard decision to Leave the show, it's something I have went back and forth with for a while now," she tweeted.

"I am hugely sad and it kills me to write this, I will miss Geordie shore with all of my heart, it was my life and I you [love] you all so much."

She said her decision was to do with Gary Beadle, who she branded a "liar and a cheat".

Gary has since replied on Twitter, saying he wasn't to blame for Charlotte's decision to quit:

Back in April 2016, Charlotte told This Morning that she was thinking of leaving the show but hadn't made up her mind just yet.

That came after her appearance on Celebrity Juice, in which she cried when Keith Lemon asked for an update on her relationship with Gary.
