No, it was The 1975 members Matthew Healy and George Daniel having what appears to be a cigarette under their table. Because they were too darn edgy to go outside.
They were 'caught' doing the act after they won their award for Best British Group, and by 'caught' we mean their bandmate, Ross MacDonald, posted a video of it to Instagram.

Perhaps the biggest disappointment from last night's show was that Ed Sheeran failed to get quite so fucked as he did back in 2015. For those who don't remember, here are the pictures.
