After quitting her slot on the X Factor judging panel to focus on Liam Payne, making music and their new puppy, it looks like Cheryl isn't quite finished with the whole talent show malarkey just yet.
Thanks to the gravitational pull of her pal Simon Cowell – Cheryl is being lined up to make a special appearance on the ITV show later this year.
Will she be the fifth judge? The show's mascot? A cheerleader? A guest performer?
According to The Daily Star, Cheryl is simply being lined up to help Simon out at his judges houses and King Si wants Liam there too.

A show insider said: "Both Cowell and ITV bosses are in agreement Cheryl would be the perfect person to help him pick his finalists. Everyone knows how well Cheryl and Simon work together on and off screen.
"Cheryl also has a proven track history mentoring the girls as a judge, she’s still incredibly popular with fans and it would keep her within the X Factor family despite her quitting. Not only that but Simon wants to win this year and he really respects Cheryl’s opinion when it comes to finding a star.
"Simon also has a lot of respect for Liam, who many saw as the business brain behind One Direction."
Getting Liam and Cheryl on the show would obviously do wonders for nostalgic reasons, as they had their first flirting sessionin his audition way back in 2008.
Money and puberty work wonders, don't they?
The source added that Simon is feeling pretty upbeat about this years X Factor and is basically pretending that last year never happened.
The reason for his happiness?
Dermot O'Leary. Even though he had to fork out a tasty 8 MILLION to get him back.
