The whole entire world has been waiting with baited breath for news of the arrival of little baby Chiam (Cheryl and Liam Payne's baby), and Cheryl just got fans SO EXCITED that she may have finally announced it.

She posted a note screenshot on Twitter (which pretty much ALWAYS bring big news) which started off: "I am so happy and excited to tell you all…" so obviously we thought it was gonna be baby news.

But it turns out it was something different, but pretty darn lovely all the same. She's launched a new Cheryl's Trust Centre with The Princes Trust that will be opened next summer!

Read her full statement below.

Many fans think Cheryl may have already given birth.

As heat went to press on Friday, we were hearing that Cheryl was already in a posh private hospital in central London preparing for the birth (read more in this week's mag) – and Cheryl's Girls Aloud bandmates, Sarah Harding and Kimberly Walsh, might have just hinted at the news.

Kimberly posted a pic of her and Chezza on Instagram with the caption: "Love this pic of me and Cheryl,' while Sarah captioned her montage: '#kissestothemissus #good #times."

And Sarah followed it up with a pic of her and Chez having a kiss while on tour, writing: "THAT kiss… #OldTimesSake #GA #110 #Tour"

Many fans have taken this to be an oh-so-subtle attempt at congratulating her without actually saying anything. Sneaky.

One wrote: "@KimberleyJWalsh is this a sneaky way of saying Cheryl has just given birth @CherylOfficial" and another: "@KimberlyJWalsh subtle Miss Walsh very subtle."

All this comes after a source told us: "Cheryl has made it very clear to Liam that she wants and needs him around now. The baby comes first, above and beyond everything. There will be no clubbing in London in the next few months!

"Cheryl wants the very best for her child, and that means a full time adoring father - so Liam knows he's on nappy duty and night feeds.

"And of course he agrees; he’s so excited about being a dad! He’s been getting tips from [One Direction bandmate] Louis [Tomlinson], who’s been telling him how exciting those first few weeks with a new baby are."
