Things haven’t really gone to plan for Dom Lever this week on Love Island. First, his island bae Jessica Shears was ripped from his clutches after a brutal public vote, and then he had to hear rumours from Gabby Allen's mum that she'd bedded co-star Mike Thalassitis within hours of leaving.
Despite having a bit of a tantrum when he found out, Dom had decided to stand by his woman until the rumours were proven; but last night his faith in her was tested again when a fresh batch of new girls arrived in the villa, some of whom seemed pretty eager to split the pair up.
During a conversation with Ellisha Jade-White and Shannen Reilly McGrath, Dom was told some home truths that he sure didn't seem too happy about.
"Do you think you're believing what you want to believe?" Shannen asked him.
"The only reason that people that believe [Jess and Mike] now that she didn't really say much and he didn't say much."
Awkkkward.
Of course, the girls didn't stop there, as Ellisha-Jade added: "Some of the parts of the stories are varied.
"He said she never went to his room, then she said she went to wake him up because he wouldn't wake up or something."
Wow. We wonder what Jess is going to have to say about that?
She'll probably be pretty chuffed really, because with the evidence stacked against her Dom has still remained faithful to her, and it seems like that's not about to change.
"If it hasn't happened, it hasn't happened, but I'd rather be true to myself than stay in here and get with someone in here, come out and she'd be heartbroken," he told the newbies.
How adorbs. We do hope Dom doesn't live to regret it.
