We really don't know why, but Cheryl's love life is pretty bloody interesting - the news that she'd started going out with LIAM PAYNE OUT OF ONE DIRECTION was quite literally the story of the year.
Another fascinating component of her romantic relationships is the situation with estranged husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini. Who is he? Why did they get together in the first place? And when on earth is their marriage going to end?
Luckily for us, one of those questions has finally been answered - it's been revealed that Cheryl is calling for a secret divorce hearing.
Her lawyers are said to have asked for a closed session with JB later this year, and Chezza has apparently requested that he sign a non-disclosure agreement.
We hope this ploy for privacy goes to plan, particularly as Cheryl is set to be majorly in the public eye imminently (more than usual). It's been reported that she's RETURNING TO THE X FACTOR.
Not as a full time judge, obv, we think that bridge has finally been burnt now – but she's allegedly set to be Simon Cowell's judges' houses pal (WHAT ABOUT SINITTA?).
A source told The Daily Star: "Cheryl would be the perfect person to help him [Simon] pick his finalists.
"Everyone knows how well Cheryl and Simon work together on and off screen."
"Cheryl also has a proven track history mentoring the girls as a judge, she's still incredibly popular with fans and it would keep her within the X Factor family despite her quitting."
This made us pretty darn excited, given that she'll be joining Simon, Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne AND Dermot O'Leary (bae) in returning to the show.
