Like it or lump it, you can't deny than Celebrity Big Brother lovebirds Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell have gripped the nation over the past year. They've been on-and-off so many times we're thinking of claiming for whiplash and they've been through more in a year than most couples do in ten: cheating scandals, TV appearances, meltdowns, rehab stays Twitter rants, pregnancy announcements, DNA tests, arrests and insane public scrutiny.
But despite everything, Stephanie insists that they're just a couple 'madly in love' and chose to appear on This Morning to set the record straight once and for all.
PHEW.
Admitting their mistakes and insisting that 'she's as bored as everyone else is' about the whole dramas, Steph revealed that she thinks Jeremy's underlying addictions were to blame for the majority of their fallouts.
She said: "Looking back now it’s been so up and down I can see why people think we are a joke.
"It’s made me learn a lot of lessons, but also this was going on that no one knew about."
"It’s hard for everyone to listen to after everything that happened.
"We haven’t helped ourselves. Jeremy has finally admitted he does need help for that and I cried for hours.
"I was watching the man I loved killing himself in front of me."
Steph then admitted that they're officially back together and wants to 'forget about the past and focus on their future' for the sake of baby Caben-Albi (who joined Steph on the sofa looking v.cute).
And when Holly and Phil questioned her about the public opinion of their relationship, Steph simply said: "I'm sick of seeing myself in the papers. I agree with everyone, I'm bored too. But you stand by someone. What he's done is wrong but he's not a bad person."
