Earlier this evening Katie Price appeared to slam Love Island star Chris Hughes' claims she sent him texts of the flirty variety following speculation he'd split with Olivia Attwood.
"Met @chrishughes_22 once on Loose Women and with @oliviajade_att at the football. Sorry to disappoint you all no flirty texts got sent!" she wrote on Twitter.
Katie then followed it up with this sassy little comment: "More important things going on 💋 KP xx"
And it seemed as though it was all one big misunderstanding, right?
Wrong.
Chris then took to social media to expose the flirty messages he'd recieved (and seemingly ignored) from the Pricey.
Replying to Katie's comment denying any cheeky messages had been exchanged, he wrote: "Okay sweetheart. Being pied shouldn't make you bitter."
And posted several pictures revealing messages sent from Katie.
The first snap was an screenshot taken from a direct message sent from Katie's official Instagram account, reading: "Hey, so good to meet you yesterday.
"Anyway his my number and would love to go shooting. Obviously this stays private (sic)."
The second two screenshots show Whatsapp's allegedly sent from Katie's number.
The first text reads: "Hey Chris I got your number from a mutual friends I loved meeting you the other day would love to go shooting if offer is still there ! I don't think your getting my messages are you? I'm not here to cause trouble at all ! Yes you know I like you ! And here for any advice too ! You will just get people wanting to make money out of you so just try to be careful ! Hope to hear from you and if you don't want me to text or be in touch I'd rather you tell me xxx".
Seems quite nice really. But clearly Katie failed to win Chris over, as he never replied.
Katie then sent a couple more messages, as the final screenshot shows. The last text says: "Hey don't worry I'm not after you it was a faze lol but you on a club PA ? I am too it's sooo late where are you? I'm in Darlington."
Oh, Katie, we've all been through that 'faze', hun.
Still no reply from Chris, though. Kinda makes us feel a teeny bit better about all those missed calls we left our ex over the weekend...
The Love Island star has now deleted the tweet and screenshots, however he did take to Twitter to leave a final comment on the situation.
"A message from another female who went out her way to get my number from someone, then messaging me, is flirty. My girls @oliviajade_att," he told his fans.
Bit harsh though Chris. We guess it puts an end to those Olivia and Chris split rumours though.
