Their feud rumbles on
There's been bad blood between Mike Thalassitis and Chris Hughes from the minute Mike bowled into the Love Island villa and flirted up a storm with Chris’ beau Olivia Attwood. We’ll never forget the iconic moment when Chris branded the 24-year old with his ‘muggy’ moniker.
And sure enough Mike lived up to his nickname at last week’s TV Choice Awards when he slammed Chris and his BFF Kem Cetinay. He accused the pair of letting fame go to their heads since the show ended.
“I’m still the same, got the same group of mates. Some people let it go to their heads, not going to mention any names,” he told the Press Association, before swiftly mentioning names.
“Chris and Kem, helmets the pair of them, but I’m not worried about them tonight.” Brutal.
He also claimed that he’s managed to stay grounded, despite sacking off his day job and becoming a full-time party boy. “Life is not really normal anymore. I'm not getting up at 6am every day to go to work and then playing football at the weekend, I'm partying for a living and enjoying it.” Talk about a humble brag.
It doesn’t seem like Chris is losing any sleep over Mike’s diss though. He told us: “I don’t really need to respond to that… I’ll just let him have his little bit of airtime for a few minutes.”
THE SHADE OF IT ALL.
Besides, Chris has bigger things to worry about at the moment – he’s about to spend the night in a haunted castle with Charlotte Crosby and Stephen Bear for Celebrity Ghost Hunt Live.
Chris also responded to rumours that he already knew gf Olivia before coupling up on the show after it was revealed that she posed for a selfie on Instagram with one of Chris’ friends all the way back at the start of last year.
