Remember that adorable couple from Married At First Sight, James and Emma? They actually seemed like they were going to make it.
Well erase them from your memory because it’s over – the couple have revealed that they called time on their marriage in November after 34 weeks.
"We really did want it to work. We gave it our best shot," Emma said in an interview with Bella magazine.
James was the one who ended the marriage. "I told her I wasn't in love with her and I felt we needed to draw a line under things," he said. But he wasn't alone in his feelings.
"It was actually quite a relief, although very sad," she said. "I really thought meeting the way we did meant we stood a chance, as nothing else I'd tried had." But it seems it wasn't meant to be.
The other couple on the Channel 4 show – which saw strangers marrying without having ever met after experts handpicked perfect partners – also gave up on their (sort of) love. Kate had her marriage to Jason annulled just weeks after their wedding after one of her pals spotted him on Tinder.
