Who's going to headline Glastonbury 2017? The Stone Roses? Daft Punk? Lady Gaga?

Those are just rumours.

Only one is 100% definitely going to happen* and that's CRAIG DAVID

(*Disclaimer: This is almost definitely not going to happen).

But not according to the man himself, who said he was "born to do Glasto".

Blimey.

And there we were thinking it couldn't get any weirder than Coldplay. Over and over and over again.

Coldplay

Speaking at his £9.50 Camber Sands gig sponsored by The Sun (from which headlining the Pyramid Stage is the next logical step), Craig said: “I’d love to headline in the Pyramid Stage, that’s one of my main goals.

"I played for the first time last year and the place erupted.

"Doing it an even bigger stage would be an honour."

Could Craig David join the long line-up of legendary headliners to have played the coveted spot? The line-up that includes David Bowie, The Rolling Stones and The Who?

WHY THE F*CK NOT?

He was on the Silver Hayes stage last year in front of 20,000, so who knows…

Craig continued: "I was playing Glastonbury on the Silver Hayes stage, one of the smaller stages.

"I walked out to go and get a feel of Glastonbury. I didn’t want to be that thing of being backstage the whole time, because you haven’t been to Glastonbury if you stay backstage."

So true, hun <3.
