Dan Osborne has allegedly branded his relationship with former EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa a mistake and said he never meant to get her pregnant.

The Only Way Is Essex star and the soap actress welcomed their first child together in February but it seems Dan may not be able to let go of his feelings for ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin.

In an alleged recording of Dan obtained by The Sun on Sunday, he can be heard telling Megan, with whom he shares a son, that he never intended to get Jacqueline pregnant.

In the clip, the pair can be heard discussing their situation with the male becoming annoyed that the female mentioned other men.

The man tells the girl he does not want to move on from their relationship, to which the female responds: “What do you mean move on? You’ve had a baby with someone else. You can’t do anymore to move on.”

The male replies: “I could. If I proposed to someone. Or wanted to be with someone. Anyone can make a mistake.”

When asked why he got another woman pregnant, the man says: “I didn’t mean to though did I?”

The pair then become embroiled in a heated argument before the female becomes tearful and asks him to leave the house.

Dan appeared to brush off reports on Twitter today and responded to a supportive message, writing: “If only everyone knew the full story.”

We have contacted a representative for Dan for comment.

This is not the first apparent recording of Dan that has emerged – another tape emerged earlier this month in which he allegedly threatened to stab his ex.

Police did not take action against Dan but he issued an apology after the clip was published.

Dan said: “It has taken me a while to find the right words but I would like to say that I am truly sorry to anyone who was offended by what they heard.

“I am unable to talk about the difficulties with my current family situation but I am taking steps to resolve it to achieve the best outcome for my son. I am ashamed and embarrassed that I allowed myself to reach such a dark place that I behaved in a way that even I didn’t recognise.

“While I acknowledge that there is absolutely no excuse for my deeply regrettable behaviour, I plead for some understanding that I had no intention of violence.

“There are always two sides to every story and all of my friends and family who are close to me know that I am not a violent person capable of anything like this. My words were said in anger and desperation at a very difficult time.”

He added: “I love my son Teddy very much and I’m doing all that I can to see him as often as possible.

“I am also very sorry to everyone at TOWIE that I have let down and thank them for their understanding and support while I take a short break to concentrate on my family”
