It’s emerged that Louis Tomlinson won’t be charged by police over the altercation in an airport involving his girlfriend, Eleanor Calder, in March.

The Los Angeles City Attorney has reportedly just called a hearing.

According to The Sun, a spokesperson said: “Each of the parties will be interviewed regarding the incident and advised of the law and ways to avoid similar incidences in the future.

“Typically there is no further action taken by our office after the hearing, though we do reserve the right to file charges up to one year from the date of the original incident should additional information or future actions require additional measures.”

On 3 March, Louis was arrested in Los Angeles following an incident with a photographer, which also saw Louis' girlfriend, Eleanor Calder, caught up in an altercation with two women, who had allegedly been filming the whole thing.

In a video obtained by Radar Online, Louis was seen rushing over to his girlfriend as it appears a fight is breaking out between the two women, after the fan had apparently pulled out her phone to film Louis' incident with the paparazzi.

The One Direction singer then appeared to launch himself at the young fan, to defend his girlfriend. The girl, called Ana Becarra, then falls to the floor and Louis loses his jumper in the scuffle.
