So... the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards happened tonight, and as you can imagine, the ceremony was TOTALLY star-studded. The event, one of the most important in the pop calendar, and created to applaud three special Teen Heroes, got under way in Wembley this evening and was hosted by none other than man of the moment Nick Grimshaw.

NICKGRIMSHAW

On the way in, we even managed to catch up with Nick Jonas on the red carpet, and question him about those 'are they? aren't they?' Kate Hudson dating rumours. Unfortunately, Nick did confirm to us that he is "very much single". Hmph. but when we asked if he thinks she's hot, he confirmed the obvious; "of course!".

Inside, the ceremony saw the X Factor, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, Ed Sheeran and Joe Sugg all winning awards in the celebrity categories - and OBVS One Direction won the award for Best British Single for their hit 'Drag Me Down'.

And just GUESS who put in a surprise performance at the awards? THE BIEBS!!! Yep, that's right, Justin Bieber was introduced as a surprise guest and performed three of his hits - including our absolute FAVE 'What Do You Mean?'.

And there was ANOTHER surpise. Radio 1's Greg James, who collected the award on behalf of One Direction announced that the band will be on Radio 1 THIS THURSDAY (12th November) to perform a very special Live Lounge session.

We. Are. Literally. Buzzing.
