Members of the heat team even have the pictures as their desktop background - just to get us through the grueling days writing endlessly about all things celebs.
And because Ed had a pretty special night at the BRITs last night (where he performed his two new BANGING tunes on stage with the one and only STORMZY), we kinda expected a repeat of 2015.
But despite posing with Stormzy for the cutest selfie we've possibly ever seen - he let us all down in the party sense.
Pfffft.
Ed was indeed pictured leaving this year's Warner Music BRITs party, but this time he played the dutiful boyf by holding his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn's very painful louboutins.

Oh how things have changed.
In more exciting news, good old Ed has been teasing us all with deets of his pal Harry Styles' debut solo album.
Speaking ahead of the BRITs, Ed told us: "I've heard a little bit. I've heard a little.
"It really shows him off as an artist and a singer, which is what it was always going to be. "I can't say too much about it as it's not my project, and I've got no idea when it's coming out. It's quality."
