Emma Watson has hit back at criticism over her topless photo shoot for Vanity Fair with an epic speech about the meaning of feminism.

Emma posed topless for the magazine sparking a divided opinion amongst her fans. While many loved the photos and applauded the actress, others hit out and criticised Emma – even branding the shoot as 'anti-feminist'.

Emma has now spoken out about the controversy and insists the images are far from anti-feminist.

Speaking during an interview for her new film Beauty and the Beast, Emma addressed the issue and said: "I really don’t know what my tits have to do with it. It’s very confusing. I’m confused. Most people are confused. I’m always just kind of quietly stunned."

We feel ya, Em hun.

She then had to explain the whole situation to her Beauty and the Beast co-star, Dan Stevens, after he asked why people were talking about her boobs. She said: "They were saying that I couldn’t be a feminist and… and have boobs."

Emma also explained her understanding of what feminism means to her: "Feminism is about giving women choice. Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women with."

YAAAAS QUEEN.
