Two of our favourite things in the whole world are coming together and it’s going to change the universe.

No, we’re not talking about pesto and hummus as a topping on oatcakes (but you should really try that if you haven’t, total gamechanger).

No, we mean Eddie Redmayne and HARRY POTTER.

More news!

Eddie is going to be in Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, a movie version of JK Rowling’s 2001 HP spin-off book about Newt Scamander, a magizoologist who writes a Hogwarts textbook.

Director David Yates said: "Eddie is a fearless actor, brimming with invention, wit and humanity."

He added: "I couldn't be more excited about the prospect of working with him as we start this new adventure in JK Rowling's wonderful world, and I know she feels the same way."

We’d be pretty excited if we’d just snared Eddie to star in a film we were making, too. He’s only an Oscar winner, and a damn good-looking one at that, too.

Eddie will play Newt – a magic animal specialist who documents all kinds of special beasts. 70 years down the line, Harry and co study his books in school.

The film should be out in 2016, and we are going to BE THERE.
