Back in March Dolce and Gabbana were slammed by Elton John after they made some rather unsavoury comments about IVF. During an interview Domenico said: “What I call children of chemistry don't convince me, synthetic children.

“Wombs for hire, (are a) choice from a catalogue. And then you have to explain to this child who is the mother.”

Both Elton’s children were born via a surrogate and following their comments, Elton started a boycott against the brand, telling his followers on Instagram: “I shall never wear Dolce and Gabbana ever again. How dare you refer to my beautiful children as 'synthetic'.”

More news!

But now it seems it’s all water under the bridge after the famous designers apologised to Elton and his husband David Furnish.

Posting on Instagram, the 68-year-old said: “Big thanks to Stefano and Domenico for the apology over their comments about IVF children.

“We have always been big fans of their work. Now that the slate is clean we look forward wearing their designs once again. We love Italy!”

    Peace is restored.
